Anne Hoffman began rug hooking in 1999 after seeing a friend's rug.  Since that time, she has taken classes from Marilyn Schmidt in Fairway, KS and Emma Lou Lais & Rhonda Manley in Liberty, MO.  She has also taken classes & workshops from Kathy Morton, Nola Heidbreder, Sally Kallin, Jeanne Benjamin, Sandy Cheverie, Diane Stoffel, Jan Mostrom, Eric Sandberg, and Susan Quicksall.  She received her McGown accreditation in 2012.  She was the Biennial Chair for the 2022 ATHA Biennial in the Kansas City area, September 14 - 17, 2021! After years of knitting, sewing, and other handwork crafts, Jane Rowe became “hooked” on rug hooking after taking a class in 1999 from Rug Thyme Studios.  After hooking others’ designs, Jane has designed her own patterns featuring primitive designs as well as children’s artwork. Jane was a Co-Chair of the 2022 ATHA Biennial in the Kansas City Area.

Jane and Anne have been friends since 1986 and were in business together for 17 years. Jane retired from H&H 12/31/23 to concentrate on her family business, LogoConcepts LLC. Anne will be continuing to run Heart & Hare Rugs and she enjoys teaching classes, traveling to vend and teaching at hook-ins, private workshops and retreats.

I hope you have fun hooking H&H patterns & kits! My goal is to inspire creativity and spread the love of rug hooking!" Let me know how I can help you!

Anne
