Anne Hoffman began rug hooking in 1999 after seeing a friend's rug. Since that time, she has taken classes from Marilyn Schmidt in Fairway, KS and Emma Lou Lais & Rhonda Manley in Liberty, MO. She has also taken classes & workshops from Kathy Morton, Nola Heidbreder, Sally Kallin, Jeanne Benjamin, Sandy Cheverie, Diane Stoffel, Jan Mostrom, Eric Sandberg, and Susan Quicksall. Anne has completed 20 rugs including 3 commissioned pieces.
After years of knitting, sewing, and other handwork crafts, Jane Rowe became “hooked” on rug hooking after taking a class in 1999 from Rug Thyme Studios. After hooking others’ designs, Jane has designed her own patterns featuring primitive designs as well as children’s artwork.
Jane and Anne have been friends for over 20 years and are thrilled to be in business together.
